The Delta Council celebrated its 75th anniversary during its annual meeting at Delta State University last Friday (May 28). This year’s keynote speaker, Sen. Thad Cochran of Mississippi, talked about the importance of farm programs to the region’s agriculture. And he thanks Delta Council members for their “advice and counsel.”
