A Bexar County Grazing Land Stewardship Workshop in will be held May 25, 2010, at Bexar Bowling Alley and Social Hall, 15681 Bexar Bowling Road, in Marion. Registration deadline is May 20th.

The workshop will feature classroom instruction in the morning followed by an afternoon session of hands-on forage production and management instruction in the field. Attendees will receive a copy of the handbook, “Managing My Piece of Texas,” which is a collaboration of grazing strategies by the Grazing Lands Conservation Initiative (GLCI), NRCS and Texas AgriLife Extension Service.
