Thousands of animals were brought to the 2019 New York State Fair, including a good number of dairy animals.

Dairy is a big part of the fair, with numerous breed shows and showmanship competitions along with the famed rainbow milk bar. More than 230 exhibitors brought 573 head of cattle to this year’s show.

Exhibitors spend hours tending to their cattle getting them ready for competition.
