Dr. Steve Meyer says 2011 is shaping up to be one of those years where producers sell hogs for lots of money but don’t have much left at the end of the year because of high production costs. Meyer made those comments at the Pork Academy Luncheon, one of the fixtures of World Pork Expo. More than 20,000 producers are attending this year’s Expo at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines.
