Lindsay adds FieldVision Controller to line-up

Lindsay Manufacturing Co., has added the FieldVision Controller to its product line of irrigation and water management systems. FieldVision is an easy-to-use, affordable controller that offers growers an effective way to provide a precision application of water and nutrients to crops. With its unique graphic display, FieldVision adjusts irrigation speed and water depth with the user-friendly Vision Zone — a graphic panel that displays field views, showing actual status and boundaries of the current application.

Other benefits include: lower labor costs, history logs, diagnostics, multilingual capabilities and an illuminating panel for easy viewing in low-light conditions.

Mark McFadden in Olton, Texas, says the ease of operation is what drew him to try FieldVision.

“I'm always willing to try something new, but it didn't take long for me to realize just how much easier this would be to operate my pivots,” said McFadden, who runs center pivots on 1,600 acres. “FieldVision has made it so that I don't have to go to the field so often — that's a big benefit for me. I showed my employees how to set it up once and that was it. It was easy.”

Combined with the Internet-ready FieldSentry, the technology of FieldVision can give growers a remote link for complete online control of their pivot systems. Irrigation at the touch of a button.

“Lindsay continues to develop new and better options for growers,” said Rick Parod, president and chief executive officer of Lindsay Manufacturing. “The technology in FieldVision represents the next step in expanding our technology offering to growers worldwide. The industry's first Internet-ready control panel will make irrigation easier than ever before.”
