The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service Conservation Client Gateway is a secure web portal that lets landowners work with NRCS online. Landowners and land managers, whether operating as individuals or authorized representatives of business entities, can track their payments, report completed practices, request conservation assistance and electronically sign documents. The Conservation Client Gateway provides users the flexibility to engage with Ohio NRCS online.

“One of the greatest benefits of Conservation Client Gateway is the ability to sign documents electronically,” says Jon Bourdon, acting state conservationist for Ohio “This feature has the potential to save our customers valuable time and a trip to the USDA Service Center.”

Information on Conservation Client Gateway and step-by-step instructions on how to get started are available online.

USDA Service Centers are open for business by phone appointment only, and fieldwork will continue with appropriate social distancing. While program delivery staff will continue to come into the office, they will be working with producers by phone and using online tools whenever possible. All USDA Service Center visitors wishing to conduct business with NRCS, the Farm Service Agency or any other USDA Service Center agency are required to call their service center to schedule a phone appointment.
