SUMMER SALES: While ag land values remain steady, BigIron Realty reports it is lining up about the same volume of ag land sales for online auctions as it did last summer. Tyler Harris

Land is selling this summer as well as it did last summer. BigIron Realty reports it is tracking steady prices and lining up its online land auctions with about the same volume as last year.

BigIron Realty of Columbus, Neb., a licensed real estate broker in eight states, compiles the reports for this column, but not all sales are handled by BigIron each month. Call Big Iron at 800-887-8625. The following are several of the most recent sales:

Northeast

Platte and Madison counties. 301.64 acres sold at online auction for $2,282,366. This property was sold in two tracts. Tract 1 was 141.64 acres of Platte County dryland that lies flat to gently rolling. Tract 2 was 160 acres of dryland in Madison County. — Compliments of BigIron Realty

East

Nance and Merrick counties. 241.64 acres sold at online auction for $875,526. This property was sold in three tracts with Tract 1 being 155.06 acres of Nance County pivot-irrigated cropland with a six-tower T&L pivot and an eight-tower installed in 2012. Tract 2 is 73.89 acres of Nance County irrigated farmland. Tract 3 is 12.69 acres of Merrick County dry cropland. — Compliments of BigIron Realty

Central

Sherman County. 160 acres sold at online auction for $376,000. This farm is a combination farm with pasture and dry crop ground lying rolling to gently rolling. There is a four-wire fence around the farm with newer cross fences. There is an acreage with corrals and a house that is not livable. — Compliments of BigIron Realty

Greeley County. 314 acres sold for $2,100,000 at private treaty. This property is two pivot-irrigated quarters, the east one with an eight-tower Reinke pivot, and the west has a seven-tower Zimmatic. There is one irrigation well that supplies water to both pivots. — Compliments of BigIron Realty

Southwestern South Dakota

Mellette and Jackson counties. 1,440 acres sold at online auction for $1,420,781.50. This farm sold in five tracts. These are all gently rolling dryland farms bordered by good gravel roads. — Compliments of BigIron Realty

South-central Kansas

Reno County. 158.34 acres sold at online auction for $174,174. This farm is a level quarter of grass with a 1.5-acre headquarter site. — Compliments of BigIron Realty
