Land is starting to come to the market. All commodity prices are recessed, although government support has been a small but welcome relief. Low interest rates and scarcity are holding land prices steady for now. There are buyers interested in land, but there are very few farms for sale, BigIron Realty reports.

Northeast

Knox County: A total of 480 acres sold for $2,217,998.40. This property is a highly productive irrigated ground. There is a pasture with a creek providing the water source, an established feedlot approved for up to 950 head of cattle, and many improvements including grain storage for up to 45,000 bushels. — Compliments of Farmers National Co.

Boone County: A total of 80 acres sold for $285,000. This 80 acres consists of 53.52 acres of dry cropland with the remainder in pasture. It has a great location, one-plus mile off Highway 14 near Petersburg, Neb. — Compliments of Farmers National Co.

East

Washington County: A total of 55.28 acres sold for $480,000. This property has an estimated 55.22 acres of crop ground and margin with proximity to the Omaha metro area. There is a flowing creek on the east side of the farm, and a rural water line is available on the south side of the farm. South

Gosper County: A total of 480 acres sold for $2,600,000. This is a productive pivot-irrigated and dryland farm. This farm is in an excellent water area. Located in the Tri-Basin Natural Resources District, there are no water restrictions on this land. This parcel enjoys excellent soils and has great access right off county roads 731 and 417. The dry cropland consists of 190.09 acres, while the pivot-irrigated land has 268 acres.
