As is typical, there are not many farms on the market this time of year. The farms that are selling have a lot of interest from both investors and farmer buyers. Investors hold the floor on unreserved auctions with farmers ultimately buying the land.

Northeast

Cuming County. 157.57 acres sold for $750,000. This property is made up of 56.45 dryland acres, 70.38 Conservation Reserve Program acres and 28.35 acres of pasture and homesite. — Compliments of BigIron Realty

East

Platte County. 163.4 acres sold at online auction for $1,552,300. This pivot-irrigated quarter lies flat to gently rolling, is located on a good gravel road and is just more than a mile off Highway 81. Included in the sale is a nine-tower Zimmatic pivot and a 100-hp electric motor. — Compliments of BigIron Realty

North

Holt County. 146.10 acres sold for $350,640. This is pivot-irrigated cropland located only 2 miles from an ethanol plant with excellent access. It has a seven-tower Valley electric pivot. — Compliments of BigIron Realty

Central

Greeley County. 55.51 acres sold at online auction for $878,631.50. This farm is a nice, pivot-irrigated quarter lying level to gently rolling. There is a domestic well in the northwest corner that is operational, an eight-tower Zimmatic pivot and 100-hp electric motor. — Compliments of BigIron Realty

Northwest

Scotts Bluff County. 155.23 acres sold at online auction for $620,620. This is a pivot-irrigated farm with a six-tower Reinke pivot that has 38-inch tires, a 20-hp motor and is near new with ample water that is delivered via cement canal. The water is delivered by the Gering-Fort Laramie irrigation district. — Compliments of BigIron Realty
