Land Values: Renewed optimism, and higher corn and soybean prices keep ag land values stable.

Nemaha County. A total of 48 acres sold for $140,496. The land has outstanding hunting and a large running of timber. The row crop farm has strong soils, mostly Class II, and a nearly level terrain. It is located 1.5 miles off Highway 75, close to Nebraska City and Auburn, Neb. — Compliments of Farmers National Co.

Rock County. A total of 160 acres sold for $161,500. This is an excellent Conservation Reserve Program quarter in southern Rock County near Rose, Neb., just north of the Calamus Reservoir. This property offers excellent hunting opportunities for both deer and turkey. The property is in CRP until 2022. Included with the property is certified irrigated acres through the Lower Loup Natural Resources District. There are 105 acres enrolled in CRP with an annual payment of $3,185, expiring Sept. 30, 2022. — Compliments of Farmers National Co.

Wheeler County. A total of 480 acres sold for $528,000. This former cropland acres are in the Conservation Reserve Program. There are 431.59 acres enrolled at a payment rate of $47.32 per acre. The current contract expired Sept. 30. This property will offer major Farm Service Agency corn base acres. This land also offers an opportunity for re-enrollment in CRP, or to be converted into pasture. Several smaller tree pockets offer significant cover for game. The deer hunting on this tract should be strong, with several irrigated cropland fields close by. — Compliments of Farmers National Co.

Holt County. A total of 160 acres sold for $320,000. This irrigated quarter located southwest of Atkinson, Neb., has an Olson center pivot, six cylinder Case power unit, Lima generator, Randolph gearhead, WelLine pump and a fuel tank. This property offers production of corn, soybeans and the potential for irrigated pasture. The property is fenced. Irrigation well logs indicate 900 gallon-per-minute well pumping from 70 feet. — Compliments of Farmers National Co.
