The following are several of the most recent sales in Nebraska:

Southeast

Polk County. A total of 156.16 acres sold at online auction for $1,577,216 or $10,100 per acre. This is an excellent pivot-irrigated quarter in southwest Polk County. The farm lies flat and has good gravel road access. The sale included a seven-tower Zimmatic pivot nozzled at 800 gallons per minute, with a four-cylinder John Deere power unit with 10-kilowatt generator, 50-hp gearhead and pump, and two fuel tanks. Lancaster County. A total of 150.96 acres sold at online auction for $4,566,540 or $30,250 per acre. All three tracts are mostly level dryland farm ground located on the northeast edge of Lincoln. Per the Lancaster County Planning Commission, the tracts are zoned for agricultural. Because of this zoning classification, the minimum lot size is 20 acres. — Compliments of BigIron Realty

Northeast

Madison County. A total of 154.33 acres sold at online auction for $1,196,057.50 or $7,750 per acre. This farm is located near Madison County’s center in northern Schoolcraft Township and is 100% farmable with clay loam soils. There is a double power line that passes across the northeast corner of the farm. The property is under a wind tower study contract with Lincoln Clean Energy, and future payments go to the new owner. — Compliments of BigIron Realty
