If you've never had a chance to tour the Louisiana Gulf ports in person, here's a first-hand look at port action. CSD Editor Greg Lamp and Joe Roybal, editor of CSD sister publication BEEF, took the photos during a recent trip to New Orleans. The majority of the photos were taken at Zen-Noh Grain Corporation at Convent, LA, which transfers grain from Mississippi River barges to ships enroute to Japan. Here’s a snapshot of how they unload barges and the command center that tracks all operations.
