The new Insertion Paddle Wheels from Seametrics address issues facing growers and irrigation dealers.

Growers using propeller-type flow meters have faced a high rate of repairs resulting in expense and downtime. Irrigation dealers have dealt with returns of propeller-type flow meters and the high cost of inventory for each meter for different sized pipes.

Dealer inventories can be reduced as Insertion Paddle wheel meters are easily adjustable to fit pipe sizes from three-inches-to-10 inches resulting in the need to carry just one size.

The extension of the IP100/200 Series comes in brass, PVC, or 316 stainless models. Adapters mate with standard 1-1/2” (110/210) or 2” (150/250 or PVC 110/210) NPT threaded fittings including saddles and weld-o-lets which may be purchased locally or from Seametrics.

Introduced in Spring 2013, the IP114B-AF-126 Insertion Paddle has a longer life than previous propeller meters with simple and inexpensive repairs.
