Nebraska Farm Bureau is dedicated to working together with farmers and ranchers to strengthen agriculture and build strong rural communities in Nebraska.

Nebraska Farm Bureau is a grassroots membership organization that has been committed to supporting farm and ranch families for more than 100 years. The organization formed in 1917 on the idea that by working together, more could be accomplished. Join NEFB to keep the tradition going.

The organization is involved everywhere from events hosted by county Farm Bureaus to the halls of local, state and federal government, advocating for policy that supports the future of farm and ranch families in Nebraska.

This year, Farm Bureau secured passage of historical property tax and income tax relief, providing about $6,947 per farm or ranch in additional property tax relief annually. The organization’s efforts also helped expand broadband and livestock in rural Nebraska.

At the federal level, Farm Bureau efforts continue to hold federal regulations in check, including protecting access to important crop protection products and expanding market access around the globe.

Agriculture community

Nebraska Farm Bureau is proud to offer members exclusive access to resources, expertise and benefits that provide a variety of agricultural business solutions.

With a focus on growing the next generation of farmers and ranchers in Nebraska, Farm Bureau helps to promote career pathways and agricultural literacy, as well as provide economic opportunity, networking opportunities and leadership development for young agriculture professionals.

In addition, Nebraska Farm Bureau is nurturing a passion for careers in agriculture by way of innovative programming, and the many scholarships and grants for students sponsored through the Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation.

Enter to win prizes

This year at the NEFB building, anyone can enter to win a generator and pedal tractor from John Deere and Case IH, along with tools from Grainger. The ever-popular farmer and rancher T-shirts will also be available to buy for $10, with proceeds supporting Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation programs.

NEFB will also have free bottled water, snow cones and Wi-Fi. Farm Bureau members — current and those who sign up at Husker Harvest Days — will get a free pair of leather work gloves (while supplies last). Nebraska Farm Bureau staff and members look forward to visiting with you at HHD. Visit nefb.org to see how you can help make a difference in the lives of farm and ranch families.
