SURVEY SAYS: In a recent survey, farmers shared they're planning to head to Grand Island this fall for Husker Harvest Days. Farm Progress

As states across the Midwest and nation open businesses and additional public services, farmers clearly report, via a research study conducted in late May, 2020, they already are making plans to attend the upcoming Husker Harvest Days, Sept. 15-17, 2020. Survey responses indicate their plans are similar to past years’ attendance.

Profiles for the producers planning to attend are very similar to the 2019 show in farm operating scope, acre size and crop production profile.

• Owner/operators, a key decision-making market segment, as group, plan to attend the show.

• Exclusive audience at HHD. More than 42% of respondents who plan to attend HHD do not plan to attend other farm shows in the near future. Husker Harvest Days is the only event where exhibitors can gather with these valuable customers and prospects.

These farmers represent significant acres and production capacity and need for production inputs.

Reasons for attendance

Farmers and ranchers planning to attend HHD report their top reason is to learn about new products and ideas for their operations. Their second leading attendance reason is to shop for a product they want to purchase. They also look forward to talking with the experts who are part of the exhibiting companies’ teams at the show.

In-person events on the scale of Husker Harvest Days and Farm Progress Show present the experiences and excitement that can create life-long relationships between exhibitors and visitors.

Health and safety commitment

The show staff is working diligently to deliver an impactful and engaging event that prioritizes the health and safety of visitors and exhibitors. New carefully considered plans for safety precautions and procedures will be introduced for this year’s Husker Harvest Days.

Farm Progress parent company, Informa, which annually holds more than 600 in-person and virtual content-driven events, in conjunction with industry peers, suppliers and association partners, has developed AllSecure, a set of enhanced standards and guidelines to provide the highest level of hygiene and safety at all Informa’s events. Husker Harvest Days will be organized in accordance with the AllSecure standard, providing visitors and exhibitors with reassurance and confidence they are participating in a safe and controlled environment.

Visitor safety is key

Farmers who attend the show can expect to see that health and safety is a priority, and that a range of measures are in place to ensure everyone involved is able to enjoy a safe, hygienic, productive and high-quality organized event experience.
