Editor’s note: Husker Harvest Days is Sept. 10-12 in Grand Island, Neb. Visit HuskerHarvestDays.com.

Although Husker Harvest Days features exhibits and activities for visitors of all ages, one event is sure to bring the whole family together. The Canine Stars will be at the show to perform their dock diving act, courtesy of Grinnell Mutual.

This team of dogs will entertain spectators with various extreme sports, such as dock diving, Frisbee freestyle routines and big air stunts. Dock Dogs competitions are the fastest-growing sport on four legs.

Since 2012, the adopted dogs and their trainers have worked to promote pet adoption while sharing their talents with audiences.

The dogs, at Lot 1168, will perform all three days at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m., with each session lasting a half-hour. Visit thecaninestars.com.
