FMC has announced that the company added Authority Elite herbicide to its Authority line of herbicides for soybean growers.

Authority Elite is a preemergence herbicide, and it provides broad-spectrum weed control with an application window from 30 days preplant up to three days after planting. Authority Elite will be available to soybean growers in Central Iowa, Ohio, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, the Southern Illinois River Valley areas and the Mississippi Delta.

The new herbicide provides grass and broadleaf weed control, including tough-to-control weeds in the Amaranth family.

FMC field studies have shown that Authority Elite provides superior control of grasses and broadleaf weeds when compared to competetive products.
