Wisconsin remains the farthest behind when it comes to the corn harvest.

The latest crop progress report shows the corn harvest completed at 95%. That’s down three percent from the four year average of 98% at this point. Missouri, North Carolina and Tennessee farmers report they are finished with this year’s corn harvest.

Meanwhile, most states are nearing the last days of harvest, if the weather holds out. Texas crop watchers report 99% is off the fields, while Illinois farmers report being 98% complete. Nebraska and South Dakota report 97% finished with Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky and Minnesota trailing slightly behind at 96%. North Dakota and Colorado report 94% and Indiana reports 93% done.

There are three states in the mid-late 80% range besides Wisconsin at 81%. Michigan is reporting 84% completion, Pennsylvania crop watchers say 86% is finished, while. Ohio farmers say 87% of the corn is off the fields.
