A solid foundation — it’s what keeps a house standing tall and a vineyard running strong. With bud break just around the corner, many grape growers are busy ensuring their grape crop will be able fight off its usual pests come spring and summer. However, the first step to a successful harvest starts at its roots.

Roots have a key role in the nutrition and development of the plant. It is not enough to have nutrients available in the soil — the plant also needs the appropriate structures to use them. For stronger roots, Arysta LifeScience recommends PILATUS® nutrient formulation.

PILATUS is a globally proven proprietary formulation designed to establish a solid plant foundation by initiating and continuously promoting the root development, growth and optimal absorption of your specialty crops.

In addition to vines, PILATUS is ideal for a variety of specialty crops including almonds and citrus. And for convenience, it is easily applied to soil via irrigation system, in-furrow or drench. PILATUS can be tank-mixed with most drip- or drench-applied soluble fertilizers, commercial bulk drip-run fertilizers, fungicides, insecticides and other pesticides labeled for use on the intended crop.

Backed by results

With PILATUS, growers can be confident in their vineyard. In recent trials, grapes treated with PILATUS at the beginning and end of flowering experienced a one ton per acre increase in yield.
