Registration and housing open today, Oct. 18, for the 2023 Unified Wine and Grape Symposium Jan. 24-26 at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center in Sacramento.

Cost for the three-day conference is $345 for American Society of Enology and Viticulture members and $565 for non-members registering by Jan. 17, or $545 and $765, respectively, thereafter.

The symposium will include a "State of the Industry" presentation by industry leaders as well as a keynote address by Robin McBride of McBride Sisters Wine Company at the opening day Luncheon on Tuesday, Jan. 24. Cost of the keynote luncheon is $75 for ASEV members and $125 for non-members.

Built with the joint input of growers, vintners and allied industry members, the Unified Symposium has served as a clearinghouse of information important to wine and grape industry professionals for 28 years. The conference will also include exhibits by some 850 vendors on Jan. 25-26.

The symposium returned to downtown Sacramento last January for the first time in three years, as the 2020 event was held at Cal Expo, home of the California State Fair, because of a convention center expansion project. The 2021 conference was held virtually because of coronavirus-related restrictions on public gatherings.
