NASS amends 2010 final grape crush report

The National Agricultural Statistics Service has released changes to the 2010 California Final Grape Crush Report.

The report contains additional and revised data derived from information received after the March 10, 2011 release of the final crush report.

The most significant changes by tonnage were an increase of 462.6 tons for Verdelho and a decrease of 462.6 tons for Vermentino, both in District 11.

At the state level, 2010 tons crushed increased by 406.4 tons to 3,986,314.0 tons.

The average price per ton paid for grapes increased by $0.07 per ton to $545.16.
