Gary Schulz, former manager of the International Agri-Center, home of World Ag Expo in Tulare, Calif., is the new executive vice president of the California Raisin Administrative Committee (RAC) and the California Raisin Marketing Board (CRMB).

Ron Worthley, president/general manager of both groups, said Schulz most recently was program director for the Central Valley Business Incubator on the California State University, Fresno campus while consulting for various economic development and political clients.

The RAC administers the Federal Marketing order for California Raisins. The 100 percent grower-funded CRMB was created by as a state marketing order in 1998. Its mission is to support and promote the increased use of California grown raisins and sponsor research of the fruit's nutritional benefits.
