Sugarcane aphid field day set for Oct. 28

A fall sugarcane aphid field day scheduled Oct. 28 from 8:30 to 10:30 at the Hoblitzelle Auditorium on the Texas A&M AgriLife Research Center in Weslaco will include field tours and updates on potential damage from the pest.

Following field tours, presentations will include discussion of chemical and variety trials and viruses transmitted by the aphid.

Participants may receive two Texas Department of Agriculture continuing education units from the field day.
