Farmers have been asking for ways to simplify the refuge requirements for their Bt crops. Pioneer Hi-Bred is preparing to unveil its Optimum AcreMax 1 hybrids, which will allow farmers to plant corn without having to establish specific non-Bt blocks in their fields. Pioneer’s Brent Wilson discussed the new hybrids during an interview at a field day in Johnston, Iowa.
