‘Grain Marketing is Simple’ mixes serious with funs

University of Minnesota Extension grain marketing specialist Ed Usset has written a new book, released just in time for the fall harvest season. “Grain Marketing is Simple (it's just not easy)” applies a common-sense approach to the difficult task of marketing grain.

The new book complements the award-winning series of Winning the Game workshops developed by Usset and his colleagues at the University’s Center for Farm Financial Management. Similar to the tone of the book, the workshop series has garnered accolades for the way it tackles the serious and relevant issues of grain marketing while incorporating fun along the way.

“This is not a textbook – there aren’t many textbooks that would introduce you to celebrity producers like Barney Binless, Hank Holder or Darla Discipline,” Usset said. “This book was written for grain producers and ag professionals who have interest in grain markets and marketing.”
