Superior Manufacturing offers grain bins ranging in capacity from 1,850 bushels to more than 1 million bushels. The company says it offers the industry’s only lifetime warranty on its farm and hopper bin roofs. Models include hopper, farm and commercial grain bins.

At National Farm Machinery Show this year, Trever Meier, director of sales and marketing, Superior, said one trend he sees in the bin industry is more individual growers purchasing bins to store grain right on their farm, particularly with younger farmers on large operations. And now may be a good time to think about that purchase decision. Superior takes orders at any time with a two week lead time on standard products.

The company says its roofs will withstand wind gusts of up to 90 mph, and it can also handle 37-pound snow loads per square roof. They also offer large 20-by-20-in. vents to increase airflow and reduce condensation. This allows grain to dry faster. And the Herculok bin floors are about 12% heavier than some competitive models. Each bin comes standard with 44-in. base anchor stiffeners that allow for fastening the bin to a concrete slab.
