Koch Agronomic Services, LLC , announces that REGALIA Rx biofungicide is available for U.S. corn, wheat and soybean growers who seek a cost-effective improvement to their existing fungicide program.

REGALIA Rx is an EPA-registered product featuring a one-of-kind (FRAC P5) Induced Systemic Resistance (ISR) mode of action, which is a proactive process that induces the plant¹s defense mechanisms in the absence of a pathogen. As a tank mix with conventional fungicides, or used alone, REGALIA® Rx provides defense against fungal pests and bolsters plant health and crop performance.

"REGALIA Rx gives row-crop growers the armor needed to ward off resistance issues with enhanced disease management in the field," said Greg Schwab, PhD., Director of Agronomy at Koch Agronomic Services. "Its unique mode of action gives growers, who currently have limited options to manage diseases in their crops, better protection against a wide array of pathogens."

KAS has other biological technologies under development at its affiliate Koch Biological Solutions.

Protect crop, increase yield
In field trials conducted on conventional crops, REGALIA Rx delivered yield uplift when used in combination with conventional broad-acre foliar fungicides*:
-    Average corn yield benefit: 7.2 bu/acre
-    Average soybean yield benefit: 3.4 bu/acre
-   Average wheat yield benefit: 5.7 bu/acre

For organic crops
REGALIA Rx is an OMRI-certified biofungicide that can be applied alone or in rotation with other approved organic fungicides.

Organic grower Jim Wirtz said he¹s used REGALIA Rx for 41/2 to 5 years and has seen great yield response.  "For organic crops, there are a limited number of fungicides out there to use and a limited number of things that actually work.  It was very refreshing when we first used REGALIA Rx, and we've used it every time since.  It has worked for us year after year on multiple crops and in multiple soil types.  We've seen it work not only on the yield side, but also on the crop protection side.  REGALIA Rx has never let me down."

REGALIA Rx is available now, as growers are planning in-season applications. Best practices may include alternating or tank mixing fungicides that have different modes of action, good cultural practices, and crop rotation.
