Attend our Nutrient Master Class next week

Take a post-harvest break from tillage to spend some valuable learning time next Tuesday and Thursday as Corn+Soybean Digest hosts two Nutrient Master Class meetings in Omaha, NE (Nov. 19) and Davenport, IA (Nov. 21). Co-sponsored with Wolf Trax, these complimentary, one-day events (breakfast and lunch included) will focus on fertilizer innovations and best management practices to maximize corn and soybean performance.

You’ll learn a strategic roadmap for corn and soybean fertility from United Suppliers’ top agronomist/certified crop advisor Dr. Gary Tuxhorn. The R&D director from Wolf Trax, Mark Goodwin, will discuss specific roles that different nutrients play given today’s high-performing corn and soybean genetics. Dr. Tuxhorn also will present how to recognize where and when to apply nutrients. Then Paul Reising from Wolf Trax will outline the top ways to make nutrients pay in 2014.

To conclude the Master Class, you won’t want to miss our featured speaker, Tom McGraw, and his valuable and entertaining presentation, “Tackling 300-Bushel Corn.” McGraw started and built Midwest Independent Soil Samplers into the largest soil sampling company in North America, where he helped pioneer precision ag technologies.

Both Nutrient Master Class sessions will run from 8:30 a.m. breakfast and conclude around 3:30 p.m. Thanks to Wolf Trax, there will also be a drawing to win a $1,000 Snap-On Tools gift certificate. And we have special hotel room rates for farmers coming in the night before the meeting.
