Now is a great time to download the new smartphone app for the 2015 World Ag Expo.

Expo, the world’s largest outdoor farm exposition, is just around the corner – Feb. 10-12 – at the International Agri-Center (IAC) in Tulare, Calif.

Just type in the phrase ‘2015 World Ag Expo’ in your Smartphone app store, download the program, and you’ll have the best technology at your fingertips for a successful World Expo experience.

“The app is a helpful and valuable tool each year for World Ag Expo attendees, visitors, volunteers, staff, and media,” says Jerry Sinift, chief executive officer with the International Agri-Center (IAC).

“We want to help people find exhibitors and we’ve made the app as user-friendly as possible to do so,” Sinift said.

Once downloaded, the 2015 World Ag Expo app will live in perpetuity so you’ll never need to download another Expo app again. The app will automatically update for future Expos and other IAC events.

The app is available for all mobile platforms through the app stores for the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Blackberry, Android, and other web-enabled phones. The app lets Expo attendees to receive important, up-to-the-minute news alerts and breaking news for the three-day World Ag Expo event.

Once downloaded, the app allows you to create your own personalized World Ag Expo schedule, including preferred times to visit specific exhibitors, attend seminars, schedules for the Showcase Arena, and other activities.

The app was developed for the IAC by Penton Marketing Services.

You can tag exhibitors from a category list organized by company name and alphabetical order.

Want to find a specific exhibitor at Expo? The app will guide the way.

Other app-friendly services include a map of the World Ag Expo grounds, food vendor listings, and event information. Visitors can also personalize their agenda to ensure they don’t miss anything new for 2015.

The app includes a Twitter feed. Read industry news and receive text alerts with up-to-the-minute updates.

Besides World Ag Expo, the app provides information on other IAC programs and services throughout the year, including special events and news.

The IAC is the parent organization and producer of World Ag Expo. The show draws about 100,000 people annually from around the world.

Also, Expo attendees will have improved access to Wi-Fi as additional infrastructure has improved wireless connectivity.
