If it’s a rainy day and you’re ready for a rest break in the shop, you could pull up a new shop stool from Badass. Or you could pick up your new FM radio from Midland and contact your son who is delivering feed to the hog barn to see when he will be back. You just might be using the new Midland CXT 1000 radio.

These are just a couple of the new products discovered at recent farm shows that make life simpler and easier around the farm shop and farmstead. When your rest break is over, you could try out the new Miller Trailblazer welder to see how it stacks up for making repairs.

If your farm shop has a wash bay, or if it’s no longer raining outside, clean up the combine from last fall with the newest Landa power washer available from Jantzen Equipment. It uses heat to deliver a clean wash, knocking off tough dirt and grime that builds up over time.

If the sun pops out, it might be a good time to check out one of the four new UTV models Farm Progress editors uncovered at the farm shows. Kawasaki introduced two models recently, including the Mule Pro FXT and the Mule Pro MX-SE. Try them both, and see which one best suits your needs and fits your budget.

Also check out the latest UTV from Polaris, priced to be a good buy in its class. You will also want to check out the Gravely JVS UTV, which is also an affordable choice if you’re shopping for a UTV.
