In step with its plans to become a full-line equipment company (see http://bit.ly/iUkkGY), Buhler Industries today launched a new line of tillage equipment designed for large-acre farmers in North America.The new line includes a complete range of offset discs, tandem discs, cultivators, and chisel plows.

“We have been very open about our intention to have Versatile offer a product line that caters to the large-acre farmers, and these implements are a major part of that strategy,” says Dmitry Lyubimov, president of Buhler Industries.

The new tillage line is a direct result of the company’s recent purchase of Ezee-On Manufacturing, an Alberta-based precision seeding and tillage manufacturer known for building durable and reliable products. Key features of the discs include:

-410WSS and T2-215 bearings, claimed to be the heaviest in the industry. The bearings come with a 3-year and 7-year limited warranty, respectively;

-Heavy-duty disc gangs torqued to 3,200 ft-lbs. Steel fabricated full spools and optional interlocking half spools eliminate breaks and ensure gangs stay tight;

-A  full floating hitch that helps ensure a level cut, regardless of terrain, and a smooth field finish with less plugging, ridging or rough spots. The full floating hitch also helps prevent damage from rocks and other obstacles in the field.
