NEW TRACTOR: Kioti’s new RX40 Utility Tractor blends power, comfort and value. Kioti

South Korean farm equipment brand Kioti has expanded its North American tractor lineup with the release of its RX40 Utility Tractor. The machine blends power, comfort, value and performance in a versatile package. It has several upgrades from its predecessor for a better operational experience.

“We’ve reimagined what a utility tractor can offer by combining advanced features with the rugged reliability Kioti is known for. These mighty machines are built with operator needs top of mind,” says Joel Hicks, associate tractor product line manager for tractors. “It’s an investment in not only your productivity and comfort, but also contributes to the success and sustainability of your farm.”

Notable features include a five-pillar cab for more space. An updated, streamlined hood improves forward sightlines and ground visibility. The tractor is also equipped with an electronic three-point hitch and an LED instrument panel with ergonomically placed controls for intuitive operation.

It’s equipped with Kioti’s water-cooled, four-cylinder turbocharged CRDI diesel engine, and has a 26-gallon fuel capacity. It also has a three-point lift capacity of up to 4,327 pounds.

The RX40 is available in two transmission options: power shuttle, or power shuttle with creeper for smooth maneuvering. The line has five models ranging from 66- to 73-hp in ROPS or cab configurations. Models are available at Kioti dealerships across the U.S. and Canada. “The M 30-4 AG model with bin clamp option provides a focused handling solution,” says Brian Rabe, product marketing and training manager for Manitou North America. “The entire package of the machine, larger tires and optional bin clamp are extremely efficient and easy to operate. We’ve featured this machine with two mast options and a bin clamp that are all purpose-built by Manitou for gentle handling of bins and palletized materials on the orchard, market or farm.”

The machine has a rated operating capacity of 6,063 pounds, a shorter overall width and length for greater maneuverability, a tighter turning radius, and ground clearance of 15.5 inches.

Two mast options are available:

  • full visibility duplex mast with a maximum fork height of 12 feet

  • free lift triplex mast with a maximum fork height of 14 feet, with side-shift capabilities and tilting performance of 15 degrees forward and 12 degrees back

The M 30-4 AG has an open cab with ROPS and no glass. Options include a semi-enclosed cab and door kit, a heating system, cold-weather operating packages, LED lighting packages, and a Bluetooth radio.
