With weed control costs increasing by $120 million annually in Tennessee alone, growers are pulling out all the stops to try to combat herbicide resistance. The University of Tennessee’s Larry Steckel says farmers will have to do more than change herbicides to be able to bring Palmer amaranth back under control.
