Claas of America has entered into an agreement with Agile Manufacturing to provide tractor preparation services for North America. Agile will manufacture local components, as well as prepare machines for shipment. The prep center will be located at Agile’s new South Dakota facility, in Worthing, S.D.

“North American farmers have unique demands requiring specialized tractor components. Our new relationship with Agile Manufacturing allows that important prep work to be done locally,” says Drew Fletcher, Claas of America’s product manager for tractors. “Agile’s strong reputation and extensive manufacturing experience aligned well with our exacting requirements.”
Claas is best known in North America for its premium lines of Jaguar forage harvesters, Lexion combines and an extensive range of balers and hay tools. The expansion of tractors into the North American market helps round out its offering as a long-line manufacturer.
“We are honored and excited to be part of Claas’ expanding activities in North America,” explains Michael Feilmeier, president of Agile Manufacturing. “Over the last several years we have made substantial investments in our capability, quality and personnel. Being able to earn the business of a global industry leader like Claas is a testament to our employees and the work they are doing.”
