Faster unloading with a larger auger, an exclusive self-aligning, rubber-cushioned, soft-start mechanism for a smooth, synchronized engagement of the upper and lower augers for extended driveline life and adjustable tongue weight highlight the new Brent models 1080, 880 and 780 grain carts.

Also new is the standard equipment, hydraulically controlled, multi-directional downspout that allows grain to be evenly directed during unloading for precise placement and load leveling. Unloading augers also set new industry standards for auger unloading height and forward and outward reach for easy positioning over the highest truck and wagon sidewalls, even when sitting on sidehills.

Nighttime unloading visibility is enhanced with high-intensity halogen lighting; two on the auger and one inside the cart, that automatically turn on when the auger is extended.

The patented, corner-positioned, high-volume 20-inch diameter augers on the 1080 and 880 models (18-inch diameter on the model 780) deliver unloading speed of up to 500 bushels per minute (450 bushels per minute for the model 780).

Utilization of the newest hydraulic-system technology allows the auger to fold and unfold up to four times faster than previous models for speedier loading and unloading. When extended, a lock-valve secures the auger in position with a positive seal for a leak-free joint.

The new tubular-steel axle handles the heaviest loads with ease. A width-adjustable axle option for matching varying row widths is also available. Another industry first is tongue weight adjustability. This two-position, patent-pending axle provides the traditional tongue load of Brent carts for greatest control and maneuverability, while the second setting lightens the tongue load if desired.

The axle also features two-position height adjustability to accommodate a variety of wheel and tire sizes and various row crop applications.

Other new features include a lockable unloading-door wheel for easier pit dumping, canister-type load cells for easier installation of optional scales, and color-coded and labeled hydraulic hoses for easier attachment. There is also a side variety of undercarriage options including high-flotation singles, duals, walking-tandem duals and tracks.

Available capacities are 1,000-plus bushels on the model 1080, 840 bushels for the model 880 and 750 bushels with the 780.

All Brent grain carts are primed and feature a durable baked-on finish in choice of red or green and silicone sealed seams for a long-lasting, automotive-type finish.

Standard transport chain and lighting provide greater roadway safety.
