SUPER-MULCHER: This forestry cutter can shred trees into organic mulch.

Got a lot of trees, debris and brush to clear out? Bobcat’s 70-inch-wide forestry cutter attachment may be the tool for it, whether you’re doing site preparation, orchard or vineyard maintenance, or even post-disaster mitigation.

This cutter makes organic material of trees and timber undercover with up to 17% more productivity than 50- and 60-inch models. It fits M2-Series compact track loaders (T750, T770 and T870) plus the S850 skid-steer loader with high-flow auxiliary hydraulics.

The 36 double-tipped carbide teeth ensure faster tree knockdown. Trees lying on the ground can be further processed into fine mulch and mixed into the soil.

This model’s two-speed drum is standard for increased torque and improved productivity. Tilted forward, it throws the material against the counter combs to further reduce mulch size. An optional front gate can be lowered if the operator needs finer mulch.

It also features an adjustable three-position push bar to accommodate the operator’s preferred setting. The gathering feature pulls brush and trees toward the center of the drum for more efficient operation. Equipped with a rotor brake, the attachment stops in 10 seconds or less when the hydraulics shut down.

Note: A forestry applications kit must be installed on the loader to safely operate this attachment. The exclusive forestry door with ¾-inch laminated polycarbonate helps protect operators from flying debris.
