The second day of the ride the participants will also start off at 7:00 a.m. from Yankton. The route will take participants through southeastern South Dakota and the communities of Volin and Wakonda and finally end up in Yankton for the conclusion.

The WNAX-Tri-State Old Iron Association Antique Tractor Ride will showcase 200 of the best antique tractors in the region, both restored and those preserved in their original condition.

The idea for the WNAX-Tri-State Old Iron Association Antique Tractor Ride originated with Association President Rodger Harts and Treasurer Gary Copperstone, both of Yankton.

"The tractor ride is an opportunity for antique tractor owners to proudly display a part of agricultural history." Harts said many of the owners have had these tractors in their family for generations and are proud to own a piece of history and share it with others. Many others have spent hundreds of hours restoring their tractors and have unique stories about this labor of love.

In addition to WNAX and the Tri-State Old Iron Association, the event is also sponsored by Graham Tire of Yankton.
