AGCO brands unveiled a range of new products at the 2024 Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa. Farmers got the first glimpse of the Fendt 600 Vario tractors, Massey Ferguson 9S tractors and Gleaner T Series combine as the gates opened Tuesday morning at the show.
Fendt 600 Vario Series tractor
The newest addition to Fendt’s tractors is the 600 Vario. With 140 to 240 horsepower, the series models can be put to work for various tasks around the farm. The series includes the 614, 616, 618 and 620.
The new tractors feature VarioDrive – Fendt’s power-splitting continuously variable transmission – to reduce slippage in the field. If one axle loses grip, power is transferred. The VarioGrip tire pressure control system adjusts tire pressure, also reducing slippage and minimizing ground pressure based on field conditions.

Massey Ferguson 9S Series tractor
The five-machine MF 9S Series boasts a better cost per hour for a lower total cost of ownership. The tractors deliver industry-leading fluid efficiencies and high-level cab comfort. The intuitive technology reduces labor costs and helps farmers complete fieldwork in the optimum window.
“The optimal window for fieldwork has been shrinking over the last five years,” says Derek Reusser, tactical marketing manager for Massey Ferguson HHP tractors. The 9S tractors allow farmers to choose industry-leading technology, because “a planter should never be limited by the tractor’s capabilities,” he explains.
Massey Ferguson’s new five-machine 9S series tractor lineup features better fluid efficiencies, an improved tech stack, and a comfortable interior. A 90 GPM ECO pump, achievable at 1,650 engine RPM, delivers a high flow rate, and six rear electric spool valves adapt to planting technologies. In the field, MF AutoTurn technology reduces fatigue and lets operators better focus on the task at hand. The available models range from 310 to 425 horsepower.

Gleaner T Series combine
The new T Series – including the T61, T71 and T81 – is the latest reenergized harvester from Gleaner. Significantly lighter than other combines in its size class, the GL T Series reduces fuel consumption and soil compaction.
The Dura Drive ground drive system gets farmers to the field faster with a maximum speed of 25 miles per hour. A two-speed, shift-on-the-go transmission provides operators with a wider range of speed with fewer gears.
“When you look at the Gleaner combine, the simplicity is what brings the reliability to life,” says marketing manager Robert Ross. “The lightweight design reduces soil compaction as the machine moves through the field and provides fuel savings during harvest.”
