The 56th annual Wisconsin Public Service Farm Show is set for the EAA Grounds in Oshkosh on March 28-30. About 20,000 visitors attend the three-day ag expo that features demonstrations of the latest farm technologies and equipment, and boasts a wide range of agricultural services.

More than 450 exhibitors from 23 states and three countries have already signed up for this year’s show.

"We expect nearly 500 exhibitors from all over the U.S. and Canada, demonstrating about $30 million worth of equipment and machinery in about 430,000 square feet of exhibits," says Rob Juneau, who manages the show for WPS. "It's an awesome display of the latest ag technologies. The goal is to have active farmers attend and see what's new in an effort to provide solutions to help them improve their overall operations, whether big or small.

"Admission is free," adds Juneau. There is a $3 fee for parking.

Juneau expects to see farmers and ag professionals from all over Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois and even Canada. Some of the show features include ventilation systems, lighting, watering equipment, computerized and internet ag applications, milking and barn equipment, seed, feed and fertilizer, manure handling, livestock products, field machinery and parts, tractors, and essential farming equipment.

"It's amazing to see how far the industry has come since we've been hosting this show, now in its 57th year," says Juneau. The advancements of technology have greatly enhanced the farmer's job, making it more efficient and productive. Wireless internet technology allows producers to have instant information at their disposal for recordkeeping, production, feeding and all aspects of farming.

WPS agricultural consultants will be available for consultation and will demonstrate a state-of-the-art farm wiring system during the event.
