The details of assembling a major farm show are abundant, from the layout of exhibits to the arrival of equipment into the facility, all manner of work must be done by exhibitors and show staff alike. For Husker Harvest Days, the only fully irrigated farm show in the country, the site is ready for business after a busy last day before the show opens.

This year the show celebrates its 40th anniversary and throughout the site, and even in the field demos, visitors will be reminded of this important milestone. There's even a setup near Antique Row replicated the first day early organizers got to work leveling the site to prep for the show the following year.

As with any major show, this year's Husker Harvest Days will bring along plenty of new tools and tech to check out, and the farm show new products team will gather that information to share in the weeks ahead. For visitors, the weather appears clear with warm days ahead. The crops are ready to harvest, and field demonstrations are set.

So check out this slideshow of folks at work getting ready for visitors to get a glimpse of what you'll get to see when you visit the site this week. For more information on the show visit huskerharvestdays.com and keep up on social media by searching the hashtag #HHD17.
