All future SC AgriBiz & Farm Expos have been cancelled, according to an announcement posted on the expo website by partner and organizer Jody Martin.
The expo has been held for eight years each January at the Florence Center in Florence, S.C. This year’s expo was cancelled due to the pandemic. The last expo was held Jan. 15 to 16, 2020.
“It is with regret we announce the unfortunate cancellation of all future SC AgriBiz & Farm Expos. We thank you for your support and appreciate your loyalty,” Martin wrote in a letter to patrons on the website.
“We have enjoyed eight wonderful years sharing the vision and message of all aspects of ‘Agriculture and Agribusiness in South Carolina and beyond.’ As we prepared for the 2022 expo, we were looking forward to sharing the message of ag growth and continued education as well as networking with the ag community.
“However, we have struggled with getting the 2022 expo jump started and executing plans for future events. We have had continued discussions with our partners and our team and have determined the best course of action is to suspend future expos,” Martin wrote.
“We will miss visiting with each of you and sharing our enthusiasm for all things ag. We remain committed to agriculture in South Carolina and offer our assistance and support to the agriculture community,” Martin wrote.
