The Sunbelt Ag Expo annual field day will take place July 25, and the Expo’s app provides an updated, convenient way to extend the tour’s useful on-farm information to your hands.

No need to reload the Sunbelt Ag Expo app to your device if you have it installed. It will update automatically with field day articles and information. It’s ready for you.

Sponsored by Americot, look for the Field Day function button at the top of the app to learn about the field day’s where, when and how and schedule before you arrive, and get a head start on the research University of Georgia experts and company representatives are doing to improve technologies and production practices farmers can use to put an edge on their operations, even during uncertain economic times.

Under the Focus on the Farm function for example, find out what company is conducting more than 100 acres of variety and fertility research this year on the Sunbelt Expo’s 600-acre Darrell Williams Research Farm and about the data collecting system used on the Sunbelt Expo’s farm to track and compile information into actionable plans to improve efficiency and production, and about research comparing peanut water efficiency in conservation and conventional tillage systems.

The Sunbelt Ag Expo annual field day takes place at the Expo show site at Spence Field in Moultrie, Ga. Registration is free for the half-day event. The day starts at 7:45 a.m. with breakfast followed by quick welcomes from the Georgia Department of Agriculture and Georgia Farm Bureau.
