Horse training demonstrations are back at the Farm Progress Show with a new face. Steve Lantvit, a lifelong horseman and equine enthusiast, is bringing his horse training techniques to this year’s show in Decatur, Ill., Aug. 31 to Sept. 2.

Lantvit has decades of experience and knowledge across multiple disciplines. He’s used those experiences to build a program based on trust, gentle hands and a true partnership, regardless of the rider’s experience.

Demonstrations will be daily at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Lot 1009 in the northeast corner of the show grounds.

Lantvit’s teaching style provides his students with the “why” and not just the “how,” giving them the necessary tools to be successful on their own. His techniques are applied on the trail, at the ranch or in the show pen.

Traveling across the U.S. sharing his knowledge and passion for horses, Lantvit conducts clinics and presents at expos. He brings his teachings right into your home with his TV series, “Sure in the Saddle,” which airs on the Cowboy Channel Monday through Friday (check your local provider for times).
