Current arrangement
Since 2007, the show has rotated between its two current locations — Boone, Iowa, and Decatur, Ill.
In odd years at Decatur, the hosts are the Brix and Padrutt families, Richland College, and Progress City.
In even years at Boone, the hosts are the Ziel, Isaacson and Schoff families, and Central Iowa Expo.
In 2020, the in-person Farm Progress Show was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
