Farmers express robust Farm Progress Show attendance plans

New study shows farmers are already making plans to attend the Farm progress Show, to be held Sept. 1-3, 2020 at its permanent world-class facility near Boone, Iowa.

Farmers have spoken via a recent research study conducted in May, 2020 and they expect to attend the upcoming Farm Progress Show. Survey responses indicate planned attendance is on pace with that of the past two events held in Boone, Iowa in 2016 and 2018.

Valuable and exclusive show audience

Producers planning to attend mirror past attendance in acre size and crop production profile.

Owner/operators as a group plan to attend the show – 77% of attendance will be from this key group.

Only at FPS. More than 24% of respondents who plan to attend FPS aren’t planning to attend other farm shows in the near future. Farm Progress Show is the only event where exhibitors can gather with these valuable customers and prospects.

These farmers represent significant acres and production capacity and need for production inputs.

Why farmers plan to attend

New products and ideas are on the minds of farmers. The top reason for their FPS attendance is to see new products and practices for the farm. Producers know they can talk with the experts who are part of the exhibiting companies’ teams at the show and this is the second leading reason for their attendance. Only in-person events on the scale of Farm Progress Show and Husker Harvest Days present the experiences and excitement that can create life-long relationships between exhibitors and visitors.

Health and safety commitments

The show staff is working diligently to deliver an impactful and engaging event that prioritizes the health and safety of our visitors and exhibitors. New carefully considered plans for safety precautions and procedures will be introduced for this year’s Farm Progress Show and Husker Harvest Days.

Farm Progress will be organized in accordance with the AllSecure standard, providing visitors with reassurance and confidence they are participating in a safe and controlled environment. Details of our health and safety commitments will be provided in future communications.
