Four Farm Progress editors spent three days combing the showgrounds at the 2022 Farm Progress Show near Boone, Iowa, with one purpose in mind: They were looking for new products introduced since the 2021 Farm Progress Show in Decatur.

The team uncovered nearly 200 new products or services. Most were released within the past few months, and many were unveiled at the show. In fact, the list includes prototypes of products that weren’t even on the market yet. In a few cases, editors found products that have been marketed elsewhere in the world but are new to the Midwest.

You will find pictures and descriptions of these new products grouped into categories and appearing soon on this website. Two new stories with multiple new products will appear on the website each week throughout November and December. Products that another team of Farm Progress editors uncovered at Husker Harvest Days in Nebraska will also be included.

The Farm Progress New Products team for the 2022 Farm Progress Show included Tom J. Bechman, editor of Indiana Prairie Farmer; Jennifer Carrico, editor of Wallaces Farmer in Iowa; Holly Spangler, editor of Prairie Farmer in Illinois; and Chris Torres, managing editor of American Agriculturist, covering Ohio, Michigan and the Northeast.

While many products at the show were fascinating, each editor picked out two new products that stood out to them. These tools are either innovative, unique, fit a real need or just downright interesting. In fact, the eight favorites featured in this slideshow check all the boxes. Use the contact information and website addresses provided to learn more about these products.
