2021 Farm Progress Show A-to-Z Show Guide

Slideshow: Here’s a look at the best of the Farm Progress Show and all you need to know!

Farm shows are back! Join us at the 2021 Farm Progress Show, which returns to Decatur, Ill., Aug. 31 to Sept. 2.

“We’re looking at two years’ worth of product introductions that nobody has seen in person,” says Matt Jungmann, director of national events for Farm Progress. “This is the place to talk to the experts and learn how all these advancements — two years’ worth of technology and equipment and ideas — can help your operation.”

Billed as the largest outdoor farm show in the U.S., the Farm Progress Show is known for its field demonstrations, complete with more than 300 acres of corn harvest, tillage and stalk baling demos. The corn went in during near-perfect conditions, and Jungmann says it’s on track for a late-August harvest.

As for what Jungmann’s most anticipating? He’s looking forward to the same thing as a lot of folks in agriculture: seeing people.

“I’m looking forward to the crowds flooding in the gates every day. I’m looking forward to people interacting and shaking hands and getting business done,” he says. “We’re getting everyone back together.”

Take a look through this slideshow for some of the best highlights of the show, the information you’ll need and what you can look forward to.
