The latest trade aid package will resemble the 2018 package with three components: Market Facilitation Program, Food Purchase and Distribution Program and an Agricultural Trade Promotion Program. The majority of money will go to the Market Facilitation Program, with $14.5 billion earmarked for direct payments to farmers. Food purchases will be allocted $1.4 billion and the Ag Trade Promotion Program will receiver $100 million.
