The Ohio AgriBusiness Association will hold two Anhydrous Ammonia Safety Workshops — March 1 in Crestline and March 2 in Custar.

OABA’s Anhydrous Ammonia Task Force has planned an educational training program for 2017, which features an interactive, hands-on format designed to help participants “learn by doing.” Participants will spend the morning in a classroom setting, and will then move to a nearby anhydrous facility to apply the information presented in the first portion of the training.

Participants will break into smaller, more interactive groups to participate in sessions throughout the facility. The training features experts from both outside and within the industry, along with government regulators. Registration is at 8 a.m., and the event will conclude at 4 p.m. Training sessions will be held outdoors. Please dress accordingly.

March 1. Sunrise Cooperative, 3000 W. Bucyrus St., Crestline
March 2. Legacy Farmers Cooperative – Agronomy Center, 9266 Custar Road, Custar
