Part 4

Orion Samuelson and Steve Bridge talk with Mike Pearson, Ag News Daily, Grinnell, Iowa, about issues impacting farmers in that part of the country. Meteorologist John Boyle looks at weather for the Eastern United States. And in Max's Tractor Shed, Max Armstrong shares the story of an International 2+2, a tractor that brings back memories for Max, which he saw at the Red Power Round-up. Orion Samuelson and Steve Bridge talk with Dale Moore, vice president, public affairs, American Farm Bureau Federation. He talks with Orion and Steve about key public policy issues impacting agriculture; including a look at the $12 billion aid package USDA announced recently.

Part 6

Orion Samuelson profiles McCrory FFA in McCrory, Ark., has 120 members and one of the original 51 charter chapters in the state in 1928. And Member Christian Little, offers information regarding his SAE project for the chapter. In Samuelson Sez, Orion revisits some sore subject including animal rights activists picking on 4-H kids at fairs; people who don’t use turn signals for a lane change; and finally, getting drivers to pay attention at those tall-corn blind intersections. And Meteorologist John Boyle looks at weather for the week ahead.

Part 7

Orion Samuelson and Steve Bridge close this week's show with a report from Russell Nemetz, who offers a report on how fringe activist groups use environmental laws to limit agriculture in the West. And there’s insight on the Endangered Species Act and potential changes to that law, which has been around since 1973.
